Thanks to Brother Elmer Turner and his mission team from North Carolina, we were able to minister to over 3000 people in two different provinces of Ecuador this year in the FACES Ministry 10 day Traveling Christmas Crusade. God is so good! With our bus loaded with over 2,000 Christmas candy bags and toys, we traveled to the Quichua village of Quilatoa in the Cotopaxi Province where the children from three public schools were waiting for us. Our ministry program included fun songs, games, and the team’s puppet show. 65 adults and children prayed with us at Quilatoa. At Zumbahua, La Cocha public school, 42 children responded to in prayer. At Zumbahua, village of Guantopolo, 82 children prayed with us. In Pujili at the Quichua community of Cutuvuri 167 children responded to the prayer call. 86 children and 5 adults responded to the invitation at our Christmas Crusade at the public school at Cachi in the Pujili area. Over all, hundreds of children heard the good news of Jesus’ birth and were blessed with a Christmas Candy Gift bag, very possibly the only Christmas gift they will receive. In Macas we ministered in a public high school, and the Shuar Indigenous communities of Sevilla and San Luis sharing the love and service of Christ to hundreds of kids and over 80 responded to the call to give their lives to the Lord. The kids were really upbeat and everyone had so much fun! Pastors Billy Dunagan, Tim Pressley, and Donnie Wise, preached dynamic revival meetings at the Quichua church in Rumipungo and the Church of God in Macas where many were touched by the power of God. In Ambato, Pastor Turner sponsored a huge Christmas Appreciation Banquet for all of the Indigenous Pastors of the Church of God in that district with door prizes and gifts for all! What an unforgettable way to finish out 2015!
